WOW... I really suck at this, Jared is currently in Fort Eustice VA for the summer taking the Armament course and with him gone I am a very busy woman! Work is going good, Windows are picking up, and we are starting a new granite division (Half Price Granite) so i'm super busy at work, The kids are GETTING BIG as ever, Ashtyn is in the middle of dance competition season, she has one more to go at Lagoon on June 12... Attley loves her dance class and tumbling she asks me daily if she has dance school that night... Witten is in the crawling stage, he currently does the army crawl, its cute as ever and if he is sitting up he can get onto all fours and rock, he has figured out how to pull himself up so when ever he can get close to an object I have to worry about him falling over, its hilarious!

In the next couple of weeks I am taking the kids boating at lake powell with grandma and papa so watch for some fun pictures, I will try to update this at least once a week to keep all you out-of-towners posted, sorry i suck so bad at this!

Life After Rucker....

Okay, I guess I should update this since its been a while....

We have been crazy busy getting settled into our new lives and lifestyle (explain in a minute) back home in Utah.....

Upon our return we bought a home in Syracuse, Jared is STILL unemployed (but looking like that is going to change next week), I have been back at Advantage Window part time in hopes to go back full time next month. I will get new pix of kids and home posted as quick as I can!

Jared and I have CoMpLeTeLy changed our lifestyles.... We joined Wasatch Crossfit (a local crossfit gym) and I have to say i'm SUPER impressed!!! IT IS SO much tougher than P90X was however in the 2 weeks i have been going to their "easy" classes (foundations) I have seen a drastic change in my appearance and so has Jared, I'm in my pre pregnancy pants and still dropping, I see muscle definition coming back that I havent seen for years... YEAH!!!!

In addition we are starting to eat a strictly Paleo (caveman) diet which is simple to follow, yummy and nutritious!!

So hopefully by our big Mexico trip in November i will look Great in my suit!

SO... thats whats new with us, not too much at all, Ashtyn likes her school (and she is LIGHTYEARS ahead of her peers) Alabama schools and DoD schools so much better than public Utah schools (i miss the schools in the sticks!)

I will try to keep blogging and get some pix up soon!

Apache Family day 10-2-09

Friday was Apache family day at Hanchey Heliport, we kept Ashtyn out of school for the day so she could join us to visit daddy at his work and sit in and look at an Apache Attack helicopter up front, we took a family shot in the helicopter and the girls both got their turns in the cockpit...
they look so small in that big cockpit....

So its official, unless he totally screws up he is now an apache pilot, graduation is set for thurs november 12th (even though he should be done flying and with all school within 3 weeks from now) and we are driving home due to arrive tuesday Nov. 17th to utah!

YAY! we made it through our long journey and are within 5 weeks from home sweet home (and the cold cold snow) :(

labor went fast, just a quick 3 hours total Mommy felt it all due to the epidural never took (and they ended up sticking me over 6 times) not to mention i ended up with a post dural spinal headache for about a week that completely bed rested me!

Daddy couldn't be happier to finally get his boy!!!!

We did name him Witten (like Jason Witten) but not "After" jason witten, its the only name we both found different and we could agree on!

The girls LOVE him they were so very excited to meet him!

So far Witten has definitely been my Easiest baby, from his very first feeding (nursing) he goes 3 hours in between feedings and from the get-go he will go 4.5 hours at night TWICE!! So mommy actually gets 9 hours of sleep (with a quick feeding in between)! He is a very relaxed baby, just likes to hang out and look around, he is pretty alert for only a week old so we feel very blessed!!

We owe a special thank you to both Katie and Jennifer for helping out with the girls the days i was in the hospital and also all the extra's you did when i was bed ridden with a massive headache for a week!

Mr. Mom was amazing also, for 7 days straight he had to do it ALL... from laundry, cooking, housework, getting girls ready for school (yes they had messy hair for a week) and on the bus stop to helping mommy as much as possible with lil Witt since I could barely lift my head off the pillow the first 5 days (thank goodness for lortab and ibprofin 800)

We look forward to bringing him back to Utah for you all to meet!

1st Day of Kindergarten

Today was Ashtyn's first day of Kindergarten, in Fort Rucker Kindergarten is full-day here and mommy couldnt have been more excited (a much needed break and looking forward to alone time with Attley before Witten comes)!

Just like last year Attley also put books in her backpack and packed a snack to walk with ashtyn to the bus stop, she was also very excited to get to the bus stop!

Ashtyn was ecstatic! I set an alarm for 6:30 and wasnt going to wake ash up until 7am however she bounced into my room around 6:05am telling me to get up she had school today and the next hour and a half was spent telling her to calm down she had plenty of time (she was so afraid she was going to miss the bus!)

Upon getting to the bus stop ashtyn had several friends already waiting, they all looked so very cute and were all equally excited, THEN THE BUS CAME....

Attley was devastated she couldnt get on, when we told her to hug sissy goodbye she ran and cried refused to hug her thinking if she didnt hug her ashtyn wouldnt go it was so sad, then she cried for about 30 minutes afterwards......

trying to distract her beautiful mind i asked attley what she wanted to do today (thinking she would want to go to the park or the pool) she responded with such confidence "I want to go to store" I said to buy what? (thinking candy or a treat and again with confidence "to buy new tinkerbell shoes for me!" I thought it was adoreable apparently when the going gets rough the rough goes shopping!

SHE IS DEFINETELY a female in the Percival bloodline (shoe and shopping obsessions)!!!!!

4th Of July, Alabama Style

So for the 4th of July celebrations we began our "party" Friday night at Fort Rucker's Freedom Fest, it was alot of fun, for those in Utah its a big carnival this year was huge, they have all sorts of vendors (Yes, I was pissed i didnt set up an efusjon stand) and a kid zone with lots of jumpy's as attley calls them, helicopter rides, train rides, live bands, static displays (EVERY helicopter they fly here was on display and this year you could get up in all of them including the Apache) and of course... FIREWORKS!!!
There was a Huge mishap at the firework show, we saw it clearly (as we watched from the roof of the durango) not Quite sure what went wrong but 4-5 fireworks blew up on the ground, one shot into a crowded parking lot where some folks were sitting apparently 7 people were injured but they were all minor injuries!! Thank goodness!
On Saturday, we went down to Grayton Beach, FL which is a tiny secluded community the Bown's showed us a month or so again and we spent our Independence day lying on the gulf of Mexico, picnic on the beach, body surfing and relaxing!!!

Jared had brought a little body board and ashtyn learned how to use it and also how to body surf without the board, she had a blast and we couldnt keep her out of the water. Attley doesnt care much for salt water and the waves but LOVES the sand she usually spends her time playing on the beach with mommy, I am not sure what she was doing but at one point in time she used her head as a kickstand and was playing with the sand while in a half headstand, it was VERY interesting, I took pix to document her unique balance!

All in all it was a great holiday weekend on Saturday night we all snuggled into a bed and watched the HUGE firework display in New York on TV... the girls were too pooped to do much more!!!

Okay okay, so i'm horrible at blogging, since the last post we have successfully completed a trip to salt lake, in which ashtyn joined her grandma and cousins in disneyland (see below pix)

and have returned to the deep southern heat for ashtyn's bday party...
In utah I made the investment into the Efusjon Energy club, was a little skeptical at first but am amazed how in 2 short weeks I already got a paycheck and now a month into it i have 25 distributors underneath me, 13 which are community overlap in which i had nothing to do with... ITS amazing... by august i should have a check big enough to supplement my income i was making with Advantage in Utah.. THATS AMAZING in just 60 days :)

Also, we have been very busy with the kids, i'm now officially a "flight school widow" because jared has started the advanced airframe course for the Apache longbow... his hours are crazy, he has to be at the flightline by 5am each morning gets about 30 min for lunch (he doesnt make it home) and then gets out of class around 3pm to which he needs to go to the library and study until about 6pm.....
When he walks in the door he says hi to his little girls, eats dinner, then goes to the office to study some more until he goes to bed at 9pm... SO BASICALLY i see jared from 6-7pm... THESE KIDS are enough to drive me nuts!!! Thank goodness for a 3 day weekend coming up this weekend!
Mike graduated from blackhawk course, this is the girls saying congrats!

Belly getting big as heck, 10 weeks and counting... WOW can u believe it, i have started setting up and decorating the nursery i will post pix when that is complete, we have moved attley into the bunk bed in ashtyn room, she thinks this is pretty cool and getting to sleep at night has now become more of a challenge as the girls like to giggle and talk...

This weekend we are going to do a day trip down to Destin or Panama city beach, now that i have invested in a camera i will be sure to stay up on blogs and pictures for you all!!!

We miss you tons everybody and will be back in october for a visit and hopefully back in nov/dec for good :)

Dance Recital 2009

Ashtyn has been taking dance at Enterprise School of dance for the last year and today was her recital, it was sort of cool because it was held at Dothan Civic Center which is a huge center where concerts and stuff is held...
The ballet pix didnt turn out so well since there was no flash photography allowed and it was dark and they used red lighting, however here is the 2 we did get to sort of turn out:

Then her tap dance was next, its spongebob's "Best Day ever" the lighting was slightly better so we were able to get a few more shots, all the girls were so cute, none of them were doing the exact same thing at the same time, but they all tried very hard... Watch ashtyn's face when she concentrates hard her tongue comes out the side of her mouth, Jared and I were rolling in the audience she would smile then bite her tongue then smile again...

After the show we were able to take a couple shots with our "star" using a flash so we did, Jared was thinking this took a long time (rehearsal tues for 5 hours, Dress rehearsal thursday for 5 hours, then actual recital today for 5 hours) I had to laugh at him.... I told him Lil Miss Attley will start dance next year at 3 so that means we will be enduring Rehearsal week every year for the next 15 yrs....

SO in jared's point of view.... 10 months of thursday nights, lots of money spent, and 15 hours of recital this week WE ARE FINALLY DONE............ Until August!!!

Birmingham Zoo/Grayton Beach

A little out dated, Monday we took attley to Birmingham to drop her off for her flight to Utah, while there we made a stop at the zoo, it was a rather huge zoo BUT I still think Hogle Zoo is better:

Attley's favorite part was definitely the monkeys, i think her cute little pointer finger never stopped pointing! The picture of her on the bridge was in a bird room, they have a ton of birds flying everywhere and I think she couldnt get enough, evertime they landed on the bridge she ran to chase them off, was hilarious!

The Saturday before we left we also took the girls to a little town in florida halfway between Destin and Panama city beach called Seaside grove, was beautiful little community more family oriented, and then to Grayton beach... I didnt take alot of pix but here is a few...

Easter morning & Easter Dinner

Okay, here is the last of the Easter pix, we were sort of camera happy this year and took A BUNCH of pictures, so i will only post some because it takes FOREVER!!!
These were pix taking easter morning....
The easter bunny left a trail of bunny prints up the sidewalk and to the door, i told ashtyn he must have stepped into some of her chalk and she said "NO MOM, THE EASTER BUNNY HAS PINK FEET!"
This year the easter bunny decided to send the girls on a hunt using a bunch of clues to find their baskets, so he left a big note for them along with the hidden eggs...

And the final finding place after 8 different clues:

After finding their baskets the girls got to find all the eggs the bunny hid:

Then they went outside and tried to backtrack the bunny prints to try to see if they could follow him, but the tracks led into the grass, where they lost him... SILLY RABBIT!

THEN.... the girs headed back inside to open more boxes from Papa JJ, Brandy, Grammy and grandpa Jenkins and cards from grandma and Poppa percival:

AND the last of the pix are from our amazingly wonderful Easter Dinner, we went over to the Bown's house and had an amazing spread, Angie even found cute little EDIBLE chocolate Duck place setting decor... The food was amazing and The Bown's are always the best Hosts ever!!

And the ever incredible Jay, he gets mauled by my girls everytime they see him because he is SOOO good with kids, both ashtyn and Attley just love him....

THANK YOU ALL who sent such cute and wonderful gifts the girls had a great (and spoiled) easter, they really had a blast and we have enough sugar to last a lifetime (or a potty training bribe time whichever comes first!)
And to the Bowns, thank you SO VERY MUCH for having us, dinner was delicious as usual, food was amazing, you are way to creative, and you are both so very patient with our kids, we love you guys!!! so sad your leaving soon, at least your from Utah :)

Jared's bread

As many of you know... jared took up bread making during his extremely long hold bubble... so with that comes ALOT of experiencing some with great results others not so much...

Today Jared made a loaf for our dinner tomorrow night he was quite proud of, wanted me to post a pic... LOL (should be funny for those of you that know him well)....
It's a Fresh Rosemary Garlic Artisan bread with cracked pepper, and I have to say its probably one of his best yet, cannot wait for you to taste it Angie!!!

Here is the first of the Easter pix, Brandy these are primarily for you and JJ, I had no idea you followed.... There will be more pix to follow tomorrow, The easter bunny is sending the girls on a clue scavenger hunt all thru the house to find their baskets, and we are doing a big easter dinner at the Bown's (thanks ang!)

AND.... On saturday we met a couple families at lake Tholocco here on post (about 5 min drive) for a bbq and egg hunt, we were there about 4.5 hours, the girls loved it!!!!!
And to my family, no making fun of the baby, i am finally "showing" at just before 18 weeks, so i made it 4.5 months without poking out too much!

And the hunt begins... there were 90 eggs between the 3 girls, was SOO Much fun, I could barely keep up with Attley, yes again, look at my big belly i didnt realize was so big until i looked at these pix!

Dance Picture day 2009

Here is some pictures we snapped of Ashtyn in her dance costumes (since most of you wont get to be there), I only got one cute picture of her tap costume (spongebob dance) but my batteries had died, her recital is going to be May 16 at the Dothan Civic center if anybody is interested, Ashtyn is only in 2 numbers but since she in the 2nd lowest class i'm sure they will be some of the first to perfom...

Ashtyn's Surprise Package...

Today Ashtyn got a package in the mail with cute disney stickers all over it addressed to ashtyn from her grandma Angie....

As i read her the "ticket" the card said she was invited to a princess party with her grandma in disneyland in June!!...

She was so excited, she was on the phone with her grandma squeeling and screaming yay and thank you!!!

AND... there were 2 suckers, Attley was really excited for them however i couldn't get her to keep in her mouth long enough to snap a photo... I (being prego) was dying to taste it so i did and I snapped a photo on her behalf as well....

Ashtyn is so excited to join Grandma, Aunt Brittany and her cousins Savannah and Zoe for a princess adventure in Disneyland!

Attley's birthday was a success, that morning we got up and got ready (everybody but me as you can see) and opened the gifts that had arrived before ashtyn went to school

Our unwanted visitor

This morning, being that it is a beautiful warm sunny day, i opened the windows for some fresh air and got a wierd surprise.....
Soprano was by the fence staring up at his new friend (notice the electric fence wiring) which was keeping soprano from attacking this new visitor....

The only thing i can think is that this possum was coming in for soprano's food, there was some spilled onto the concrete from yesterday and i'm sure he was munching it all night and came back this morning not expecting to find soprano...

I missed getting a good shot with the dog poised staring at him but here is our first visitor of the spring from the woods behind our house...

He was a fat fat fat possum (maybe a pregnant female?) and had huge teeth, jared got right up next to it against my better judgement and eventually knocked it back into the woods with a broom....

Family Valentines gift

Hey everybody meet Belle (Lundbergs Southern Belle) to be formal....

And some cute pix of attley strutting it....

Baby Belle is a purebred Black Lab but she was not only the runt of the litter she was a twin (she shared a placenta with another pup)... She is smaller than the average lab pup but is catching up quickly!!! The breeder let the pups go a little early, we got her at 2 days shy of 6 weeks and i dont personally think she was ready and should have been on the mama a week longer but she is doing great!
The girls adore her and i am excited she will stay a small Medium sized dog... she will never be as big as most labs so i think we landed ourselves another Shelby (for those of you who knew Shelby)!!!

Sorry everybody, I am horrible at blogging, which is ironic since i check my other 3 websites daily.....

I will take some pictures in the next few days of the girls to post so everybody can see how HUGE they are getting, ALSO I have some crafty pictures to show you all, it seems the deep south is bringing out the martha in me, I am about to begin making my easter/spring door wreath and have been currently working on Ashtyn's valentines box (with her assistance) I dont know if its gonna turn out but she has developed a love for turtles and frogs so I decided to make an elaborate turtle box out of Paper Mache'.... Okay, okay stop laughing I am capable of being somewhat crafty I just didnt inherit my moms creativity....

If the turtle box turns out i will post the pictures of before ashtyn paints it and after (hoping it still resembles a turtle) and then when the wreath is done I will post that as well.

Ashtyn got to open ONE present christmas eve, and she chose one her aunt and family:

Thanksgiving 08

For Thanksgiving 2008 we drove to Dallas to watch the cowboys fry the seahawks on turkey day... was a great trip and a great thanksgiving, the baby went to Utah for a few weeks, here is Jared, Ashtyn and I calling to wish her a happy thanksgiving...

Then it was off to tailgate at the stadium, here is My dad, Jared and Todd (family friend) getting ready to go...

Just the girls, been a VERY long time since we were all together, this is my sister Brittany, my mom Angie, My sister Tobie, and me!

WAS A VERY fun time, we also went to the So Miss/SMU game in to which unfortunately Chase and SMU lost :(
We had a blast and cannot wait to go again next year in the new stadium... Farewell Texas Stadium!!!!

Just to be fair on posted pix of the girls, i snapped a couple of shots today of Attley at home, she is very patiently awaiting "sissy" to come home....

Sitting and smiling for mommy (like her sissy she immediately says cheese or smiles big when a camera turns on her) heaven help me!!!!

When sissy is gone attley loves to play with Shy, her vocabulary now includes:

and she attempts whistling by blowing out hard, its hilarious!

Enterprise School of Dance

Ashtyn easily located her "mat" and sat on it, mommy got to watch the last 10 minutes of class thru door and they were going across floor on tippy toes with ballerina arms, so cute... ASH DID EXCELLENT, she will make her grandma and aunt tobie very happy some day!

Family day at the Heliport

So today was "family day" where the families got to go to the heliport and watch their aviator in action, unfortunately we were in utah when Jared had his so i asked Justin if we could attend his, so the girls could see, here are the pictures only jared isnt in them :(

This is Ashtyn on the "catwalk" on top of the observation tower (only about 50 feet up) she also went in the deck and watch the guys give flight/takeoff approvals

This is the control panel in the cockpit of the TH67, it is what Jared flies to learn to fly before he learns the Apache

At the end of the day BOTH LIL LADIES had a blast.... Ashtyn couldn't wait to rush home to tell Daddy she saw the helicopters he flies!!!

Ashtyn first day of school

Yesterday was Ashtyn's first day of school at Fort Rucker Primary school (Pre-K) and wow was she excited, she rushed to the bus stop and wouldnt even turn around to wave to me or give me a kiss, she just ran right up the stairs....

YES i cried when the bus pulled away, a very emotional moment for mommy!

Miss Attley patiently waiting for the bus to come back, she missed Ashtyn all day long!

Finally it arrived and ashtyn WAS SO EXCITED to tell me all about her day, the first thing out of her mouth was that the kid that sits next to her mommy forgot to pack a snack and she shared all of her raisins and almonds with him :) Oh, and she loves her teacher, Mrs. Murphy!

Back in 'Bama

Okay everybody so we are back in alabama, Jared has his checkride today (yes he passed) but was very upset with his score so i havent had time to log on (passifying him sucks:) ) BUT... as promised i will have utah pix and a new blog up this week!

To all our family begging us to set up a blog site, we are currently working on a big blog site to get up and running (hopefully soon) that has more pictures and links....

Life is absolutely wonderful in the wiregrass, temperatures been staying around 95-98 so it's been hot and muggy BUT the lake is only 5 minutes away (ashtyn loves boating with unca Mike!)

The girls and I plan on flying in on wed the 18th and hopefully staying a month, but we will see how finances do!

we love and miss all the fam!
